Memorial Day Service 2017

In the morning of May 28th we went to the Ohio Bridge at Eine to attend a little commemoration for those servicemen who lost their lives crossing the Escaut during the Ypres-Lys Offensive.

Jodi Champagne, who is writing a book called: "Allegiance: Our Heroes Not Forgotten" was present. So was Robin Granicy, who's grand uncle is buried at the Flanders Field American Cemetery.

In the afternoon we went to Waregem to attend the Memorial Day Service. It was a beautiful commemoration, nice weather and a lot of spectators.
